9Hello! My name is Mrs. Giannandrea and I am thrilled to be your teacher this year. We will have so much fun in our classroom, you won't even realize how much you are learning! I am a Brighton graduate and love education! I finished my master's degree in Computer Technology Education, and I love finding ways of integrating technology into our learning. I have three children. Aric is 28, Alex is 26 and I have a daughter named Ella who will be 15 in December. She attends 9th grade at the Brighton High School. I also have a 5 year old grandson and a 1 year old granddaughter. I look forward to getting to know all of you and your families!

Birthday Celebrations
Celebrating the day they were born is important to kids at this age. As much as we'd like to celebrate with cupcakes and goodies, it is safer for all to avoid sharing foods due to allergies and diet restrictions. There are other ways we can celebrate your child's special day! Your child may choose to donate a picture book in his/her honor to our classroom library. This book will have a special sticker inside sharing who and when the book was donated to be known for years to come! The book will be read to the current class as well. OR Your child can choose to have an extra recess scheduled for the whole classroom in honor of the day they were born!
